Variable Data Printing
Variable data printing (VDP) is a form of digital printing in which elements such as text, graphics and images may be changed from one printed piece to the next, without stopping or slowing down the printing process and using information from a database or external file.
For example, a press run of postcards with the same basic layout can be personalized. Each card can feature the prospect’s name with a unique, personalized message and image. In fact, anything on the card can be changed to best reach your prospect. It is a fantastic way to tailor your mass marketing campaign to the individual.
Variable data printing can be utilized for direct marketing, customer relationship management, advertising, invoicing, and addressing on self-mailers, brochures or postcard campaigns.
